How I’ve become known by dogs all over London as ‘The Treat Lady’.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life: I even learned how to walk with the help of our family Beauceron, who was just the right height to hold on to!

As an adult, working with dogs came as a very natural choice. Based in central London, I have been providing tailored individual training for 5 years. My approach is based on kind, gentle methods which build up the dog’s confidence and allow them to thrive.

Being a London dog requires a wide set of skills: navigating the loud and busy streets; being confident in interacting with other dogs and people of all walks of life; taking advantage, safely, of the many parks we are so lucky to enjoy.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, new challenges have arisen: dogs developing severe separation anxiety; being afraid of and sometimes reactive towards strangers; the rapidly growing dog population making it more crucial than ever to have a well socialised dog... training has become unavoidable.

I believe in communicating with your dog in a gentle way that it can understand. Positive reinforcement and bonding are at the heart of my training method as my focus is on helping dog and owner build on their relationship and enjoy each other. No bark collars or choke chains, I believe in a reward-based approach reliant on an understanding of canine psychology and behaviour; dogs are incredible, sensitive creatures who deserve our love and patience.

Training your dog isn't just about obedience; it is about giving him or her the skills to blossom and thrive in our busy human world.
